Product Review for Miss Tee's Beauty Products
Finally! I have found some natural hair products to call my own. Miss Tee’s Beauty Products are exactly what a natural girl like myself needs. I had the opportunity to try the Herbal Shampoo and Misty Hair Spray.
I have had my Sisterlocks for over the last three years and it has been tough finding a suitable shampoo that would not harm my hair but will also help my hair lock. So when I came across the Herbal Shampoo, I could not wait to give it a try. I love trying new but inexpensive products and this shampoo definitely did not disappoint. I loved the light scent; it was not overbearing or too light. Afterwards, my hair felt very clean and refreshed.
As for the Misty Spray, I have fallen head over heels in love. I was previously searching for a hair spray for my locs. I did not want to try the traditional hair sprays for fear that they may contain harsh chemicals or not be suitable for Sisterlocks. I also did not want my loctician coming after me for damaging her precious work J. So when I was sent the Misty Spray sample, I literally jumped for joy. I love being able to get a couple of quick spritz’ in after I style my hair or if I need to refresh before running out the door. The Lavender oil, Rosemary oil, and Peppermint oil provide a fresh and soothing scent and a great pick me up while your in-between shampoos sessions.
Here is a quick recap of both products.
Herbal Shampoo
Positives
-Assists hair with locking process
-No harsh chemicals
-Inexpensive-$8.00
-Light scent
-Leaves hair clean, soft, and manageable
Negatives
-Does not provide much lather-This can be taken care of
by pouring some of the shampoo into a spray bottle.
Misty Spray
Positives
-No harsh chemicals
-Inexpensive-$6.95
-Light scent and weight (Will not weigh hair down or make it greasy)
-Great fragrance
-Great for on the go and in-between shampoos
Negatives
-Sometimes the spray bottle will clog and prevents it from working correctly.
-Addictive! (Lol) I found myself running out very quickly because I always carry the bottle with me just in case.

So Fresh & So Clean
Momma to the rescue again! So when it comes to certain things I'm a cheapie. But my mother has changed my life and get this, with a Toothbrush! She gave me one the new Oral B's Pulsar Pro Health toothbrushes. http://www.oralb.com/ is the official website where you can go to check out their new and recent products.
You're probably laughing and wondering why I'm blogging about a toothbrush, but this one is pretty major. It has a on and off button and soft grip to hold. It comes in a variety of colors, so you know I have a purple one!! On top of that it vibrates. This toothbrush is good for stimulating the gums, gentle on your teeth, and helps to sweep away the plaque and food. The vibrating bristles help to get in between your teeth, leaving you with a fresh from the Dentist cleaning feel. Give it a try, definitely worth your money and helped me to realize that I may need to start spending a little more money on my toothbrushes. After all this is an investment in my smile :).

Black Beauty*
Since I was a young child I have been in love with Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula. It does wonders for my skin. I practically live by their products. It keeps my skin smelling fresh, smooth and evens out my skin tone. Let's not forget about keeping the ashiness away and during the summer, if you use the cocoa butter jar-it's thicker and keeps the mosquitoes at bay. Cocoa Butter comes to the rescue in countless ways. I'm an avid sponsor of their products and never shy to admit that. I've use a lot of their products, ranging from the cocoa butter jar, the cocoa butter stick, the cocoa butter lotion and even some of their Shea butter products. You can find out more information on their personal website: http://www.etbrowne.com/. Because of their products and My excellent personal grooming :), I receive a lot of compliments on having beautiful and clear skin and hands. My fetish is so bad, my mother walked in my room today and said, "Here I got this for you, it looks like you're running a little low." Gotta love the support, and she's right I was. My lotion bottle is flipped upside down, which everyone knows signals the end.
Now there is one product I wasn't too fond of, it's their Skin Success Complexion bar. I tried using it on my face and didn't quite work out for me. It seemed to dry out my face and possibly made my acne worse. So I discontinued using it for my face and use it to shave or scrub my feet. So it did come in handy for other things. Overall, I love their products. Nothing makes me happier than taking a nice hot shower and rubbing my body down with cocoa butter.
